Basic Info: Racing Name: Astar Chels Girl, Kennel Name: Chelsea, Color: Brindle, Birthdate: July 2, xxxx This beautiful brindle girl just turned two years old. Chelsea is a bundle of fun wrapped in a petite tiger striped package. She is energetic, agile, and playful. Chelsea loves children and prefers people who can get down on her level; all the better for giving you lots of kisses! And unlike many other greyhounds, Chelsea is able to sit! Chelsea will need patience and understanding while adjusting to her forever home since transitions are a challenge for her, but once she settles in you will have a friend for life. She's still very inexperienced in things we take for granted and she will need a little training and patience. For instance, getting in and out of cars is still a challenge to her and her leash walking skills still need some work. But she's patient about nail clipping and grooming and loves a good squeaky toy. And at the end of a long day, or maybe just a long morning, she loves being cuddled and getting a nice belly rub. Chelsea seems to like young children better than adults. She can be a little insecure around new adults but just loves youngsters who are old enough toknow how to treat a dog. But we discovered that if you crouch down on her level, she likes adults much better. Chelsea is not cat tolerant so she will probably not be able to live with cats. Small dogs are a different story and she seems to do fairly well with them. You are welcome to bring your family dogs to petsmart with you if you are considering adoption. They should be part of the decision process, too. Many dogs who are not tolerant of cats will still be fine with small dogs; they know the difference! She can be seen at Petsmart in the Largo Mall every Sat from Noon to 3PM at the corners of Ulmerton Rd and Seminole Blvd. Her adoption fee is $ 250
